Our Mission

Autonomous capability for the contested ocean

We exist to put intelligent, autonomous undersea capability into the hands of those who operate where it’s hardest – at scale, at low cost, and ready the moment it hits the water.

Master the undersea
domain - autonomously

Strydent Autonomous Technologies builds intelligent autonomous underwater vehicles and the Poseidon™ autonomy stack that runs them. Our mission is to give operators decisive undersea advantage without putting crews at risk or waiting on scarce, expensive platforms.

We accomplish this by making autonomy affordable and abundant: low-cost, attritable vehicles that navigate, communicate, and coordinate on their own – deployable by a single operator, anywhere, with no specialized infrastructure.

Anywhere

Sea, air, or land

Swarm as a Service

Sea, air, or land — Strydent AUVs rapidly deploy without specialized equipment and are mission-ready when they hit the water.

Deploy anywhere

Multi-Domain Deployment.
Always Mission Ready

No crane, no specialized handling, no fixed infrastructure. Strydent AUVs launch from wherever the mission starts – and begin coordinating the moment they submerge.

Sea

Hand launched from surface vessels and deployable from sub-surface vessels - no crane required, recovered and re-tasked with a minimal footprint.

Air

Airdropped at scale from rotary or fixed- wing aircraft to seed a swarm across a wide area in a single pass.

Land

Carried and launched from shore by a single operator or deployed en masse - man portable and ready wherever the coastline allows.

What drives us

The principles behind the platform

Every decision – from architecture to manufacturing – is measured against the same set of commitments.

01

Autonomy First

We design for no pilot in the loop needed. Intelligence runs on the vehicle so the mission continues even when the link home does not.

02

Affordable at Scale

Built to the 80/20 rule and robotic manufacturing — attritable units make persistent, mass presence economically viable.

03

Operator-Ready

If it can't be deployed by one person without a crane, it isn't done. Simplicity in the field is a design requirement, not an afterthought.

04

Resilient by Design

We assume contested, comms-denied water. The swarm degrades gracefully — no single vehicle is mission-critical.

05

Modular & Scalable

One architecture across every platform and payload, so capability scales to the mission instead of the other way around.

06

Mission in Command

Operators set intent; the platform handles execution. Technology serves the objective — never the reverse.

Why it matters

Maritime Dominance Begins Underwater

Undersea is where modern advantage is decided – and where it’s hardest to operate. Strydent makes that environment accessible: autonomous, affordable, and abundant capability that puts the operator a step ahead, without putting people in harm’s way.
