Strydent Autonomous participates in Office of Naval Research Global Evaluation & Analysis: Mini-Advanced Capability Experiment 2 (mACE2) Wave Breaker Exercise

Strydent Autonomous Technologies successfully conducted 12 open ocean subsea swarm profiles 25 NM off the west coast of Key West, FL using Strydent’s Nautilus autonomous underwater vehicles. The swarm profiles comprised of single and multiple waypoint navigation legs of 100m-800m totaling over 3,000m in total distance and consisted of various swarm maneuvers to include dives, hairpin turns, and wide angle of attacks. Every swarm of AUVs successfully completed launch, dive, and navigation sequence hitting its intended target and concluded with 100% platform recovery. Strydent AUVs demonstrated basic and advanced subsea man portable drone capabilities that fall in line with Joint Force maritime requirements. Strydent continues advancing its swarm platform for integration into operation for follow-on testing and evaluation immediately to provide the warfighter advanced maritime lethality against U.S. adversaries.

About STRYDENT AUTONOMOUS

Strydent Autonomous is a defense technology company developing low-cost, attritable autonomous underwater vehicle swarms that can be deployed at scale for the U.S. military and allied forces. Founded in February 2025 by experienced business leaders and special operators with expertise in the underwater maritime domain, Strydent designs its autonomous underwater vehicles For the Operator By the Operator. Its SPEAR-1 AUV is a low-cost, compact, man-portable, attritable platform measuring approximately 1 meter and weighing less than 10 kilograms. It is being developed for deployment in swarms of tens of thousands of units to provide real-time intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, with optional kinetic capabilities across the entire undersea maritime kill chain. Strydent’s proprietary PoseidonTM software enables autonomous AUV operations and supports man-on-the-loop control through an ATAK interface.
